Ramrod (1947)
Plot Summary
A cattle-vs.-sheepman feud loses Connie Dickason (Veronica Lake) her fiance, but gains
her his ranch, which she determines to run alone in opposition to Frank
Ivey, (Preston Foster) "boss" of the valley, whom her father Ben (Charlie Ruggles) wanted her to marry. She
hires recovering alcoholic Dave Nash (Joel McCrea) as foreman and a crew of Ivey's
enemies. Ivey fights back with violence and destruction, but Dave is
determined to counter him legally... a feeling not shared by his
associates. Connie's boast that, as a woman, she doesn't need guns
proves justified, but plenty of gunplay results.
The Saga of Hemp Brown (1958)
Plot Summary
Ex-army sergeant Jed Givens (John Larch) and his gang rob an army payroll shipment
led by Lt. Hemp Brown. (Rory Calhoun) Givens kills a civilian woman and all the
soldiers, leaving Brown alive to face a military tribunal in which he is
branded a coward, stripped of all insignia and drummed out of the army.
Brown sets out to track down Givens in an effort to clear his name.
Monsters University (2013)

A look at the relationship between Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sulley (John Goodman) during their days at
Monsters University -- when they weren't necessarily the best of
friends.
The Left Handed Gun (1958)
Plot Summary
William Bonney - Billy the Kid - (Paul Newman) gets a job with a cattleman known as
'The Englishman,' (Colin Keith-Johnston) and is befriended by the peaceful, religious man. But
when a crooked sheriff and his men murder the Englishman because he
plans to supply the local Army fort with his beef, Billy decides to
avenge the death by killing the four men responsible, throwing the lives
of everyone around him - Tom (James Best) and Charlie, (James Congdon) two hands he worked with; Pat
Garrett, (John Dehner) who is about to be married; and the kindly Mexican couple who
take him in when he's in trouble - into turmoil, and endangering the
General Amnesty set up by Governor Wallace to bring peace to the New
Mexico Territory.
Good Night, and Good Luck (2005)
Plot Summary
In the early 1950's, the threat of Communism created an air of paranoia
in the United States and exploiting those fears was Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin. However, CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow (David Strathairn) and his producer Fred W. Friendly (George Clooney)
decided to take a stand and challenge McCarthy and expose him for the
fear monger he was. However, their actions took a great personal toll on
both men, but they stood by their convictions and helped to bring down
one of the most controversial senators in American history.
The Treasure of Pancho Villa (1955)
Plot Summary
Mexico, 1915. US bank robber Tom Bryan (Rory Calhoun) hopes to retire to Mexico, where
the ever popular ex-revolutionary dictator, Pancho Villa, has been
deposed and driven to his home province by another tyrant. Colonel
Castro's (Gilbert Roland) band of loyal Villa-supporters hope to get him back in power so
rob a gold train. Aboard is Bryan, who was secretly paid to help.
Delivering the gold to Pancho by Yaqui country proves harder, as the
Indians help with the federales (government troops) in pursuit. More
dangers lurk.
Escape Plan (2013)
Plot Summary
Ray Breslin (Stallone) is a man who has devoted his life to making prisons
inescapable by going into a prison as an inmate and trying to see if he
can break out. And he has done a good job so far. A woman who says she
works for the CIA approaches Ray and says that a new maximum security
prison where the worst criminals are to be incarcerated, is about to be
launched. So she wants him to go and make sure no one can get out. He
agrees. So they make the necessary preps by telling Ray who the warden
is and they give him a code that the warden will know that he's not a
convict, and they plant him with a tracer. But when he's picked up, the
ones who pick him up remove the tracer. When he arrives at the prison,
he discovers that the warden is different from the one he was told and
when he tells him the code, he claims that he doesn't know what he's
talking about. He realizes that someone doesn't want him to get out. He
then tries to find a way out but he needs help. Another prisoner,
Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger) becomes friendly with him. And they decide to work together to
get out.
